With the FALCON trial now in the final leap, the entire week (5th to 9th October) was dedicated to training hub staff (Hub manger, Research nurses and Data Mangers), Surgeons and Nurses on the CHEETAH trial protocols and practices.

The training week commenced with the in-person training of hub staff at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). This was followed the next day by training sessions held for Surgeons and Nurses from LUTH. The training week was concluded with site initiation across other centres in Nigeria. This training was held remotely via ZOOM, with participants from Lagos State University Hospital (LASUTH) and University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH)
